Devil's Knot

Based on a true story, the film follows the trial of the accused killers of three children found brutally murdered on May 5, 1993 in West Memphis, Arkansas. Several weeks after the crime, the police announce the arrest of three eccentric teenagers presumed to have perpetrated the killings as part of a satanic ritual. As their trial starts and the whole community is convinced of their guilt, Ron Lax, a lawyer going through a divorce, believes in their innocence and decides to investigate.
